This Thanksgiving leave the holiday cooking and preparations to The San Luis Resort and give thanks at the Thanksgiving Day Brunch celebration on Thursday, Nov. 22. Reservations are available at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., but seating is limited, so plan now to make this Thanksgiving a memorable, stress-free day for the entire family. With a menu selection created by Executive Chef Sean Moore and his exquisite culinary team, everyone is sure to enjoy this holiday feast. Traditional dishes of Roasted Turkey with Gravy and Cranberry Sauce are available, in addition to Roast Prime Rib Au Jus and Grilled Pork Saltimbocca, or Blackened Tilapia with Seafood Creole. For a more coastal Thanksgiving feast, presentations of Jumbo Shrimp, Crab Claws and Smoked Seafood will be available. For the more traditional guest, Tropical Fruits, Gourmet Cheeses, Assorted Breads, and Traditional Antipasti will be served. In addition to the holiday specialties, guests will also enjoy selections of traditional breakfast fare including signature Omelettes Prepared-To-Order with an array of fresh ingredients, Scrambled Eggs, Smoked Bacon and Sausage, and Cheese Blintzes with syrup alongside Assorted Pastries, bagels and cream cheese. For the health-minded diner, fresh from the garden offerings include among others, Chicken Salad with Dried Fruit, Mandarin Shrimp Couscous with Toasted Almonds, a combination of cucumber, Roma tomatoes and onions, and seasonal greens. The Chef’s selection of accompaniments includes Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Butternut Squash, Broccoli Cauliflower Au Gratin, Apricot and Calvados Apple Stuffing and finally, Reggiano Parmigiano Mashed Potatoes and Shaved Prosciutto. To end the meal on a sweet note, guests will savor the San Luis’ mouth-watering desserts including Apple and Pumpkin Pies, New York style cheesecakes, Chocolate Layer Cake and a Petit Pastry Presentation – just to name a few.
